Here at Ground Up we understand that growth as a climber is a multifaceted pursuit. The wealth of knowledge, education and experience within our Squamish community is second to none, so it is only natural that we would draw from this well. That is why we have united on some of the strongest and most dedicated training and coaching minds around to create a performance team that works together and uses each other’s experience to make your training the best it can be. We have 6 coaches and trainers who are working together with our resident Dietitian and Physiotherapist to offer you the best service available to improve your climbing.
Will is a physiotherapist and the team leader for Ground Up’s Performance Team. His practice is based on two principles: 1) He is an evidence-based practitioner, using the best available research, combined with clinical expertise, and client preferences to make informed decisions about one’s care. 2) Knowledge is power: the more you know, the better your outcome. His job is done when a client leaves his clinic armed with the tools they need to achieve their goals.
Will can help you recover from injury, learn the art of avoiding injury, or help you understand how addressing imbalances can enhance your performance on the rock. When he’s not working, you can find Will climbing anything from burley wide cracks to techy boulder problems.
